Global Immersion Cooling Technology Market Overview

Introduction:

Immersion Cooling Technology Market is also known as liquid submersion cooling. It is the method of submerging computer components (or full servers) in a thermally, but not electrically, conductive liquid (dielectric coolant). Liquid submersion is a repetitive method of cooling large power distribution components such as transformers, still rarely used for cooling of IT Hardware. This method is slowly becoming popular with innovative data centers across the globe. IT Hardware or servers cooled in this manner don't require fans and the heat exchange between the warm coolant and cool water circuit usually occurs through a heat exchanger (i.e. heater core or radiator). Some extreme density supercomputers such as the Cray T90 and C ray-2 use large liquid-to-chilled liquid heat exchangers for heat removal.

The increase in the number of hyper-scale data centers is driving growth of the global immersion cooling technology market. Hyperscale data centers are widely used in different sectors to increase computing memory, ability, networking infrastructure, or storage resources. The different features of the hyperscale data centers include the distribution systems and physical infrastructure that support the data centers for maximizing cooling efficiency, as well as the ability to scale computing tasks in a faster and quicker way.
